So, you got the map downloaded! You load your game and... your stuff is gone?
When this happened to me, I was disappointed I couldn't keep playing survival. I'm here to show you how to keep playing with your stuff!
(Please make sure you didn't already load the save file. If you did, just re-download it. Sometimes it can cause errors!)
1) Download NBTExplorer- www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-tools/1262665-nbtexplorer-nbt-editor-for-windows-and-mac
This app will allow us to edit the level.dat file so we can receive our items!
2) Open NBTExplorer
The saves tab should already be open, and you just have to find the SK folder
Find level.dat
You can leave level.dat_old alone. We wont be needing it
Finally, open data. There should be 39 entries
3) Locate Player. It should have 40 entries
Delete all of Player (Don't worry! Nothing is going to mess up the save!)
NOTE- You can edit all of your save settings here as well!
4) MAKE SURE YOU SAVE BEFORE YOU QUIT
After you save, you can close the application
Open finder and locate your minecraft saves folder
5) We need to find your playerdata code!
If you open playerdata, you will see TONS of files! How will we know which one is yours?
Open another one of your singleplayer saves. It doesn't matter which one, we just need to find your data number.
If you look at other playerdatas in other saves, you will only see one file. Thats your number! Just remember the first few digits or write them down. You don't need to know the whole thing
6) We are getting close!
Return back to the Sunflower Kingdom save files.
Open playerdata and scroll through until you find your data number. There's your stuff!
Delete every other playerdata EXCEPT yours
Now, just open Minecraft and load your file! Congrats! You can now play survival right where you left off
If anyone is having problems, I can try to help. Note, I am playing on a Mac, so windows users may be a little difficult for me to help with.
