How did you find out about this server?
The minecraft forums.
What do you normally do when on a Minecraft server?
I'm a big fan of farming, I don't know what my plan for a build would be yet. I usually spend a lot of time looking for what I consider to be a good place to build and then use the terrain as inspiration for a build.
In the past I've done lots of farmhouses, I might want to try something new, but even if I do something new somewhere in that base will be a huge farm and if you don't already have it a grocery might show up in spawn due to an excess of food. If one exists then I'll just have a lot of food somewhere.
I won't lie I'm a fairly quiet person in general, but I also like helping with some of the larger projects like helping put up walls in a nether hub, or joining a group of people for digging out a temple. So if there's a community event or build happening I'd love to be a part of it, even if I do more listening than talking.
What do you expect to get out of this server?
I was part of a server for about 2 years over 8 months ago. It was a really good community but it started to fade out and got quiet. There were a lot of reasons that server ended but none of them were bad, it was just not an active place anymore. I have tried one server since then and it just isn't working out. I'd love to be part of a community like the one I had 2 years ago, where people have their own projects, but are also willing and around to help with group projects. It sounds to me from the forum bits I've read so far this community is very similar to that community.
What would you like to say about yourself as a person?
My name is April, I will answer to April, apricot, or rain though so don't worry about offending me buy using the wrong name. I like them all.
I am a store manager of a pizza store, due to that sometimes work takes priority over a lot of my time. I love minecraft, and more creative games after long busy days where I just need to escape the real world, and instead go to another world. Usually for me the minecraft worlds I join become important to me as well, just sometimes the real world makes me have to put them on the back burner until I have time again.
On the other hand though sometimes I'm a bit too stressed out or in a bad enough mood to not even want to play games. Those nights I would probably not join the server and find something solo to do until I de-stressed. Some of my solo de-stressing activitities for that other than minecraft are reading, stardew valley, and adult coloring books.
I do have a few questions, if anyone is willing to answer them. None of the answers will change my mind about wanting to join the community, mostly just will help my peace of mind. (I'm a worrier)
"New players who have not been on the server, forum or Skype will be unwhitelisted after a few days unless they state that they are busy or having difficulties."
As I've stated I work quite a bit sometimes, and there have been times where 5 days or so can go by and I've been so busy that when I have a tiny bit of free time I don't feel like playing. Even if I don't do that, but I read the skype every day, then I'd stay on the whitelist right? Even if I don't feel like playing I know from the community I mentioned before I always like to see what has been happening, and put in my input if someone has a question, even if I'm not around in game for it.
I also spent a bit of time looking around the forums to see what kind of community you guys have, I saw one forum said the server was going to be reset October 2nd, and another that the dragon fight was going to be on October 2nd. Now I probably missed something and I might find it looking through the forums some more after applying but it can't hurt to ask when did the current world reset?
Thank you all for your time!
